These terms cover your use of jobtool. By creating an account you accept them.

What the service is

jobtool collects roles from company career pages and job boards, scores them against the skills you record, and gives you one place to triage them and track your applications. It is a tool for your own search. It does not apply on your behalf, it does not represent you to an employer, and it is not an employment agency.

The role data

Roles are scraped from public postings. They are refreshed regularly, but the service cannot promise that the list is complete, that a role is still open, or that the details match what the employer currently says. Postings in German, French or Italian are machine translated, so the wording you read may differ from the original. Always check the employer's own page before you act on a role.

Free and premium

Browsing and triage are free. Premium adds AI help. It is a subscription, billed by Stripe, and you can end it yourself at any time: open Account and use Manage subscription. When a subscription ends, the account returns to the free plan and keeps its data. Current prices are shown on the plan page in the app, at Account, Plan, which is the single place they are stated.

Deleting your account cancels the subscription for you. If Stripe cannot be reached at that moment, nothing is deleted and you are asked to try again shortly, so an account is never removed while its billing is still running.

Using it fairly

• One account is for one person. Do not share your sign-in.
• Do not try to reach another account's decisions, notes, skills or preferences.
• Do not attack, overload or probe the service, and do not work around its limits.
• Do not resell or redistribute the role data as a product of your own.
• An account used to break these rules can be suspended or closed.

Limits of liability

The service is provided as it is. It can be interrupted, and role data can be wrong, stale or missing. Decisions about your career remain yours. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings, or any indirect loss that follows from using the service, or from being unable to use it.

Changes and ending

These terms may change. Material changes will be shown before they take effect. You can stop at any time by deleting your account, which is described in the privacy notice.

Governing law

Swiss law applies to these terms. Disputes go to the courts of Zürich, Switzerland, unless a law that protects you as a consumer gives you another forum.
